How to Use ePay To Pay Your UTOPIA Fiber Bill

How to register your ePay account:

  1. Check your email for an email from support@utopiafiber.support. This email is sent to customers after they sign up and will contain all the registration information you need for ePay.
  2. Click the link in the email and select “Register” on the ePay home page. You will be prompted to enter your customer number and activation code (found in registration email) and your email address.
  3. Once you enter that information, you will receive a second email which will send you a link to create your own password and username.
  4. Create your username and password (make sure to write these down somewhere safe) and sign in.

How to make a payment:

  1. Once you have logged into your account, click the “Make a Payment” tab at the top left of your screen.
  2. If you have a balance to pay, you will see that balance under “Outstanding Invoices.” Click “Pay” and then press “Next” at the bottom of your screen.
    1. When making a payment, be sure to select the invoice, and do not enter your payment amount in the prepayment area unless you are pre-paying.
  3. This will take you to a second screen where you can enter your payment information.
    1. You can pay your balance using an Amex, Mastercard, or Visa (no checking).
  4. You will receive an email that your bill has been paid if you are signed up for email notifications.

How to set up AutoPay:

  1. Hover your mouse over the “Autopay” tab at the top of your ePay home screen.
  2. Click on “New AutoPay Contract.”
  3. Enter your Customer ID in the “Memo” box.
  4. Select either “Fixed amount” if you want the same amount taken out of your account each month or “Based on All Outstanding Invoices” if you want to pay your entire balance on a certain date. 
  5. Enter in your first date and end date of payment (or no end date, if you want to pay indefinitely).
  6. Enter in the frequency you want to pay (Monthly, Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly, Quarterly, and Annually).
  7. Search for your saved payment method or add a new payment.
  8. Press save.

To confirm the AutoPay is set up correctly

  1. Hover your mouse over the “Autopay” tab at the top of your ePay home screen.
  2. Click on “Existing AutoPay Contract.”
  3. Click into the contract you set up and check to make sure everything is correct.

FAQ

When is my payment due?

You will be billed for your monthly payment on the 1st of each month. Your payment will be due on the 26th of each month. You will receive an email with your invoice, if you enabled email notifications when signing up.  

How do I get email notifications when my bill is due/paid?

You will have the option for email notifications when you sign up with UTOPIA Fiber, but if at any time you want to change your email notifications you can. Call or chat into our Customer Service team (801-613-3880) and let them know you want to receive emails with your billing information, and they can help you out.

What do I do when I get a new card?

If you get a new card, simply add it to your autopay and select that card as your saved card. If you get a card with a new expiration date, just modify your saved payment information. Don’t add a new card, as you will then have two cards on auto-pay. Updating your card info in wallet will not automatically update in auto-pay. 

Why doesn’t ePay accept checking accounts?

ePay doesn’t currently have an ACH option, so you aren’t able to pay from your checking account. To get around this, you can set up bill pay and have your bank cut us a check monthly.

How do I know if my payment went through?

We will email you once you submit a payment telling you if the payment was accepted or declined.

Do I pay just one bill to UTOPIA Fiber?

When you sign up for UTOPIA Fiber, you will pay two separate bills. This is due to the fact that UTOPIA Fiber is not an Internet service provider. Because of this, you will pay one bill to your ISP (approximately $35 depending on which plan you pick) for your internet speeds, and $30 to UTOPIA Fiber to lease our fiber and infrastructure. Two separate bills, two separate payments. If you aren’t sure how to pay your ISP bill, contact your ISP. Their contact information can be found here.
