General Job Description:

This position is an entry-level position that will assist the marketing team in the implementation of all marketing activities, specifically handling all social media accounts and video content. You will be expected to assist in the development of social media campaigns and strategies, as well as create engaging organic videos across multiple platforms.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or similar field
  • 1-2 years performing marketing support functions within a corporate organization
  • 1-2 years video editing experience
  • Interest in social media with knowledge of the telecommunications and broadband industry a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator
  • Experience in motion graphics animation and motion design a plus
  • Knowledge of social design features and trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and stay up to date on new marketing tools and trends
  • Understand the importance of brand position and voice in all communications
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, troubleshoot creative challenges, and deliver on schedule

Detailed Job Description:

  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style and quality, and optimized for search and user experience for all content channels, including social media, mobile, video, especially short-form content
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and competitors along with experimenting with new features, and always trying to optimize our channels to get the most out of our pages and fans
  • Maintain a timely response rate to all company social media posts, ads, email requests, and company reviews with brand consistency and customer focused responses
  • Learn basic functionality of digital marketing tools to include, but not limited to, Facebook Business Manager, Social Studios, Analytics, and our internal CRM system
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers and team members
  • Work with the marketing team on various marketing related projects
  • Assist with maintaining websites of all brands to ensure they reflect the most up-to-date and accurate information
  • Produce well-researched organic video content for socials and websites
  • Create social teasers, Input music, graphics and effects to existing videos
  • Provide project support to include, but not limited to, Facebook live videos, editorial, live events, creations of short videos, blogs, social media posts, and guest facing communications
  • Perform other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned
