Sprinkler Damage? It’s On Us
May 26th, 2021
It’s sprinkler season! As the weather warms up, people all over Utah will start to turn their sprinklers on for the first time this year. Let’s talk about what that means for you if we’ve been working in your yard lately.
When you sign up for UTOPIA Fiber, we call Blue Stakes on your behalf before we dig in your yard. Blue Stakes is a free service that sends out notifications to all utility owners so that each company can come to mark their lines in your yard with spray paint and flags. It’s important to contact them before digging in your yard so that lines don’t get damaged.
However, Blue Stakes is not able to mark the location of underground sprinklers in your yard. This means that our crews have the potential of hitting them on accident when they dig to install our lines.
Until sprinklers are turned on in the spring, it can be hard to see if your sprinklers were hit by our crews. Because Blue Stakes cannot mark your underground sprinklers, we rely on you to test all your sprinklers and contact us if we have accidentally damaged them.
Customer satisfaction is crucial to us, and we don’t want our mistakes to negatively impact you.
If you turn on your system for the year and notice your sprinkler line was disturbed, contact us immediately at email@example.com or 801-613-3880 and we’ll send someone from our team out within 24 hours to get everything back to its original condition.
This same guarantee applies for any damage you find in your yard after our crews have been doing work. If it’s not exactly the way it was before we were there, we’ll send someone out ASAP to work with you and make sure things are repaired.
Have any questions? We’re happy to chat with you about this! Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
